Among the Wildflowers
2026
Among the Wildflowers is a short-listed proposal for a suspended, kinetic artwork designed to welcome visitors into a shared architectural space. Fabricated from mirrored stainless steel, each form incorporates laser-cut patterns derived from my botanical paintings, integrating hand-drawn imagery into the organic, moving structures. As the forms shift, they reflect and interact with their surroundings, creating a dynamic visual experience.
Originally conceived for a public art call, these sculptures are designed to be adaptable in scale and configuration. We welcome opportunities to develop custom groupings for architectural settings, landscapes, and public or private spaces.
Made in collaboration with Studio Huizenga.
