Bird Neighbourhood is a collection of bird nesting and wintering boxes located in the pollinator garden and pump track area of Pazarena Park, Maple Ridge. We designed these with a modular concept in mind that can be fabricated in a variety of formations with various quantities of birdhouses in each formation. The sculptural birdhouses feature removable pine boxes that can easily be accessed for seasonal cleaning. These particular birdhouses were designed for local bird species of Maple Ridge, including: Black-capped Chickadee, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Downy Woodpecker, Pacific Wren and American Robin amongst others.
