This mural was designed to bring the energy and feeling of the surrounding garden into the interior of the master bedroom.

The landscaping at the Point Loma house is truly inspiring— designed by Judy Kameon, it is a lush tapestry of Mediterranean and subtropical plants with a palette of green, blue and red hues. I spent some time laying under the olive and lemon trees and decided to paint the ceiling inspired by that moment.
